What the Vistiq is

It's an electric mid-size luxury crossover, in Wikipedia's words, riding on GM's BEV3 platform. It has dual motors and all-wheel drive and a 102.0 kWh Ultium battery. It's built at Spring Hill, Tennessee, and in Shanghai, and it replaced the XT6. Its relatives include the Lyriq and Chevrolet Blazer EV. A third-row seat recall shows it seats three rows.

What owners have reported so far

Visibility and wipers and "unknown or other" lead with 5 complaints each. Service brakes and forward collision avoidance have 3 each, and electrical and seats have 2 each. One complaint reports an injury. No crashes or fires are on file. This is one model year and a few months of a second, so the counts are small and still moving.

The four recalls

• 25V483, battery bolts: bolts attaching the high-voltage battery to the floor may be missing or loose. Dealers inspect and tighten or replace them. The 53 vehicles in the campaign include 2025 Lyriqs.
• 26V394, third-row seat: using power fold, the third-row seatback may not reverse when it meets a person. Dealers reprogram the seat module. 14,540 vehicles, and the notice names only certain 2026-2027 Vistiqs.
• 25V819, owner's manual: the radio may not have been set to download the electronic owner's manual. Dealers reset it. 94 vehicles.
• 26V114, owner's manual: the same kind of fix, across many GM models from the Bolt EV to the Escalade IQ. Its 5,861 vehicles are not all Vistiqs.

Vistiq counts pulled October 10, 2026. The 2027 has been out only months, which is why its count is tiny.

Fix, claim or sell

If a lender or lease company holds the title, start with them.

1. Look up the VIN at NHTSA and have a dealer finish any open campaign, the battery bolts first.
2. Battery or charging fault? Ask the dealer what Cadillac covers on your car. EV battery failed explains how to weigh it if coverage doesn't help.
3. Crash damage? If the insurer pays you and you'd rather not repair, see keep the check, sell unrepaired.
4. Leased or financed? Leased car and still owe on the loan cover the payoff step.

Selling the whole Vistiq

Gather the VIN, mileage and the name of your lender or lease company, then request an offer online or phone (877) 421-6008. Describe its state: screen on or dark, able to go into Neutral or stuck in Park, and whether it sits in a garage or at a curb. Keep the charge cord in the cargo area if it's still around. Bring the title or payoff letter and a photo ID to pickup, and see after you sell for plates and insurance.
