The Millenia in short
Wikipedia lists the Millenia as an executive car, built in Hiroshima from 1993 to 2002 with front-wheel drive and a V6. The engines it names are a 2.3-liter KJ-ZEM Miller cycle V6, a 2.5-liter KL-DE and a 2.0-liter KF-DE, paired with 4-speed automatics; the manual was for Europe only. In Japan the car began as the Eunos 800 and was renamed the Mazda Millenia in July 1997, when Mazda dropped the Eunos brand.
Mazda's history on Wikipedia says the Millenia and its Miller-type V6 were discontinued in 2002. The EPA data matches that, ending at model year 2002.
Across all years, owners named the engine and cooling system most (50 complaints), then the power train (36) and the air bags (29).
Problems by model year
Wikipedia gives the Millenia no separate generations, so the years are grouped where the complaint counts shift.
1995: a heavy first year
The 1995 holds 82 complaints, about a third of the total. The engine and cooling system leads with 25, then air bags with 14 and the power train with 11. Eleven complaints report a crash, 14 report an injury, and the file records 3 deaths on this year. Those are owner reports. The Millenia has no recall campaign on NHTSA's list.
1996-1999: power train on every year
These four years add 87 complaints. The power train is in the top three on each: 4 on the 1996, 3 on the 1997, 5 on the 1998 and 5 on the 1999. The 1997 also has 3 complaints on hydraulic brakes, and the 1999 has 5 each on tires and the electrical system.
2000-2002: back to the engine
The last three years hold 69 complaints, and the engine and cooling system leads every one: 4 on the 2000, 7 on the 2001 and 5 on the 2002. The 2001 also has 6 power train complaints, and the 2002 has 4 on air bags and 3 on the suspension.
NHTSA's file holds one more complaint under a 2003 model year, which falls after the EPA's last Millenia year.

Worth fixing?
With no recall on file, any repair comes out of your pocket. The newest Millenia is a 2002, so the question is usually whether a big repair makes sense on a car that age.
Engine and power train complaints lead this car's record. If the V6 is the problem, blown engine explains how to weigh a rebuild or a swap. If it's the automatic, see bad transmission. Ask the shop for a written quote. Then compare it with the selling price of a running Millenia from your year. When those numbers are near each other, it's simpler to sell yours unfixed. Old or high mileage covers the rest of that decision.
