What's under the ADX
The ADX rides on the Honda Architecture platform, related to the Honda ZR-V and HR-V, the 2023 Integra, the eleventh-generation Civic and the sixth-generation CR-V. It uses a 1.5-liter L15BE turbocharged four-cylinder paired with a CVT. Buyers choose front- or all-wheel drive, and the wheelbase is 104.5 inches. Wikipedia calls it a subcompact luxury crossover; the EPA files it as a small station wagon.
The five complaints
All five are on the 2025 model year. Two are filed as unknown or other. The rest name the parking brake, the structure, and latches, locks or linkages, one each. None mentions a crash, fire or injury.
Five complaints on a new model is too few to show a pattern. Newer models simply have had fewer months for owners to file.
| Model year | Complaints | Crashes | Recall campaigns |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 5 | 0 | 0 |
| 2026 | none on file | 0 | 0 |
Why a nearly new ADX gets sold
Most ADX owners selling now are dealing with damage, not age. A crash, a flood or a theft can leave a new car worth more as it sits than repaired. If the insurer has already ruled, read insurer totaled it. If you plan to keep the insurance check and sell the car unrepaired, see keep the check, sell unrepaired. A slipping or shuddering CVT has its own guide: failing CVT.
Before deciding, check your VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup and ask the dealer what your factory warranty still covers.
