What owners and recalls point to

Wikipedia says the Wagoneer S is built in Toluca, Mexico, on the STLA Large platform, with two motors and four-wheel drive. Its battery is 100.5 kWh gross and 93.9 kWh net. EPA lists AWD versions on Falken or Pirelli tires.

Production began in 2024, so these SUVs are young. No 2026 Wagoneer S has a complaint on file yet, and even the 2024s have spent only a short while with owners.

The six recalls, with whole-campaign vehicle counts:

  • 25V574: a spring may cause loss of the park function; dealers replace the electric drive module (75 vehicles, including Dodge Chargers).
  • 26V262: software that can make the instrument panel display fail (20,271, also Dodge Charger EVs).
  • 26V059: trailer tow module replaced. The campaign's 456,287 vehicles also include Ram pickups and the 2026 Cherokee, so that count is not Wagoneer S alone.
  • 26V141: a liftgate hinge cover that may detach (11,767).
  • 25V174: headlight aim adjusters plugged the wrong way (3,919).
  • 25V575: a wrong cross car beam in the instrument panel (8).

Repair or sell?

  1. Check the VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup. Several of these recalls are recent.
  2. A battery problem? EV battery failed explains what to ask the dealer.
  3. Screens or modules acting up? See electrical problems.
  4. Weigh the estimate against the price a working Wagoneer S fetches.

Selling it whole

  1. Note the details: year, mileage, what's wrong, and whether it powers on and shifts out of Park.
  2. Ask for an offer online, or call (877) 421-6008.
  3. Tell us the location and whether the SUV can roll. Pickup is free anywhere in the US.
  4. Keep your title and ID nearby, and see after you sell for plates.
