Selling a wrecked or broken Lotus Emira

NHTSA's file on the Lotus Emira holds one owner complaint, about the seat belts on a 2024, and no recall campaigns, through Oct. 10, 2026. Read that with care. EPA lists the Emira from 2024 to 2027, and an Emira that new has had only a short stretch in which its owners could report anything to NHTSA.

What's under it

Wikipedia lists two engines. The 2.0-liter AMG M139 turbo four pairs with an 8-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch. The 3.5-liter Toyota 2GR-FE supercharged V6 comes with a 6-speed Aisin manual or a 6-speed Aisin automatic. Lotus builds it at Hethel, Norfolk, on its Elemental platform. It replaced three cars at once: the Elise, the Exige and the Evora.
