Selling a damaged Subaru Trailseeker
Twenty-eight of the Trailseeker's 29 NHTSA complaints name the electrical system. The only other one names exterior lighting. That is the whole file so far for a model that first shows up in EPA data for 2026. If yours is wrecked or stuck with a fault you'd rather not wait on, you can sell the whole car as it sits. Pickup is free anywhere in the US.

A short record, by design
The complaint numbers reflect NHTSA records on October 10, 2026. All 29 are on the 2026 model year. Not one of them mentions a crash, fire, injury or tow. No 2027 complaints are on file yet. A car this new has had little time to collect complaints, so the count will grow.
NHTSA lists no recall campaigns for the Trailseeker. Its sibling the Solterra has five, but none of those names the Trailseeker.
Where it comes from
Wikipedia puts the Trailseeker in a family of battery electric crossovers built by Subaru and Toyota. It lists a mid-size crossover wagon in that family built at Subaru's Yajima Plant in Ōta, Gunma, from February 2026. That entry gives an e-TNGA/e-SGP platform and a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. The EPA lists two versions, Trailseeker AWD and Trailseeker 20 inch AWD.
