What the VF 6 is
Wikipedia describes it as a battery electric subcompact crossover SUV, in production since 2024. It has one front motor driving the front wheels and rides on VinFast's VMG-A/B platform. Pininfarina and Torino Design shared the design. Assembly is listed in Cát Hải, Vietnam, and Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India.
The battery is a 59.6 kWh LFP pack. Wikipedia gives its range as 399 km (248 mi) on the WLTP test, not an EPA figure. The wheelbase is 2,730 mm (107.5 in).
Problems by generation
Wikipedia lists production from 2024 to the present, and only the 2025 appears in EPA's data. NHTSA shows nothing filed against it yet. One model year of cars, all fairly young, hasn't had long to draw owner reports, so an empty record proves little.
