Selling a damaged or non-running Chrysler Prowler

So the data can't tell you what tends to go wrong on a Prowler. If yours was in a crash, has sat for years or simply isn't worth fixing to you, we buy whole non-running and junk cars. You sell the whole car as it sits, with free pickup anywhere in the US.
Sold as a Chrysler for 2001 and 2002
Wikipedia gives the Prowler's production run as 1997 to 2002. Once Plymouth was dropped in 2001, the 2001 and 2002 model years were sold under the Chrysler Prowler name. The EPA lists the Chrysler version as a two-seater for 2002.
Workers at Detroit's Conner Avenue Assembly Plant built each Prowler by hand. Tom Gale designed it. Wikipedia lists the layout as front mid-engine with rear-wheel drive: a 3.5-liter V6 feeding a 4-speed 42LE automatic. Its successor was the Chrysler Crossfire.
The NHTSA record
There was one generation, and the file holds a single complaint. It names no specific part. There are no crash, fire or injury reports, and there are no recalls to check for.
| Model year | Complaints | Recall campaigns |
|---|---|---|
| 2001 | 1 | 0 |
| 2002 | 0 | 0 |
Prowler counts as NHTSA's owner complaints stood on October 10, 2026. With a single filing on record, nothing here measures how often Prowlers break. Anyone can check a model year at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Fix it or sell it?
A Prowler is a hand-built two-seater from a short run, so think of a repair quote against what the same car would bring running and straight. If the quote comes close to that number, selling as is wins. After a crash, our wrecked car guide covers that math. If the car has been stored half-finished, see old project car.
