Selling a wrecked or broken Lexus TX
On the 2024 Lexus TX, the model's first year, air bags top the complaint list: 17 of its 48 complaints to NHTSA. A recall issued in June 2024, 24V461000, replaced the driver and passenger curtain shield air bag assemblies on certain 2024 TX 350, TX 500h and TX 550h+ models.

What the TX is
Wikipedia lists the TX as a full-size three-row crossover built in Princeton, Indiana, since September 2023, on the same GA-K platform as the Toyota Grand Highlander. It replaced the RX L. The TX 350 and TX 500h use a 2.4-liter turbo four, with an 8-speed automatic in the TX 350 and a 6-speed automatic in the TX 500h. The TX 550h+ plug-in uses an eCVT.

- 25V595000 (2024-2025): instrument panel software updated, over the air on non-plug-in models; 591,377 vehicles across many models.
- 25V744000 (2024-2026): Panoramic View Monitor parking-assist software; 1,024,407 vehicles spanning Toyota, Lexus and the Subaru Solterra.
- 26V162000 (2024-2026): in reverse, the backup camera image may not show up. It covers 144,200 vehicles, NX and RX models among them.
- 26V179000 (2025-2026): a load carrying capacity label replaced; 8,230 vehicles.
- 26V437000 (2026): rear axle carriers inspected and replaced as needed; 5,408 vehicles, including the Grand Highlander.
- 26V598000 (2026): front steering knuckles inspected and replaced as needed; 617 vehicles across TX, RX and Grand Highlander models.
